What is that? I honestly never suffer from writer's block. I go through periods when nothing inspires me to write a story, but I feel like I could sit down anytime with a pen and paper and come up with something. Whether or not it would be any good is the question!

Get feedback from other writers. As much as possible. Take advice, but believe in yourself and never, ever change your book to please someone else if it's not what you want to write. Remember that the publishing industry has changed, and there is a place for you!

My current project is still just in my head, but I'm developing a pulp story idea about a privileged young woman living a double life (kinda like Don Diego de la Vega). Everyone thinks she's a shallow socialite, but that's just her cover for her dangerous nighttime activities, urbexing and eventually fighting for justice.

Just about anything can set me off! One day the wind was blowing especially hard at the bus stop and I got a great opening line that morphed into a story. It's usually some small conceptual thing that snags my interest and makes me want to create a character and a situation around it.

I got the idea for my upcoming book because I'm an animal lover, and I hate to see animals abused, so I decided to create a protagonist who actively fights against it.
