Hey Tina! I'm not sure why, but this question was never included in my Digest. I'm soooo sorry about the delay in getting back to you. :(
It was challenging! The Director of Hallmark Publishing gave me three things: a copy of the script from the movie, a copy of the movie itself and these directions: don't vary from what happens on screen. I don't know if you've seen a script before, but the ones I was given for Journey Back to Christmas and A Country Wedding were basic dialogue with a few "stage directions." To get all the dialogue just write and follow the action in the film precisely, I must have watched those movies a hundred times while I wrote the books! At least! But the internal dialogue, the motivations, those I had to come up with on my own.
If you have any other questions, I'll be happy to answer them and will try not to take so long next time!

The first book in the Heart's Landing series is A Simple Wedding (which is currently on sale at all the major retailer sites). A Cottage Wedding is the 2nd book in the series. The third book is scheduled for an April 2021 release.
