Terry Grigg Gulliver's Land of the Houyhnhnms to escape from the Yahoos.
Terry Grigg Rebel Hell by Jan Smitowicz (disabled vegan goes to prison), The State of Africa by Martin Meredith and a re-reading of The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky
Terry Grigg We are nothing more than meat robots, skin and bone dangling on DNA strands and sooner or later a Brady or a Sutcliffe or a West will come out of the mix, and certainly at a far greater rate than an Einstein. Such is life on Prison Planet where we are all reprobates awaiting release from the sentence that has been foisted upon us.
Terry Grigg It's quite easy to get inspired by travelling. I've likened it to watching a movie, and then suddenly finding yourself in the lead role. I just write down all my experiences, do some research and hey presto a book is on its way. Editing at the end, correcting errors and re-reading over and over again is always the hardest part of book writing.
Terry Grigg The Indian subcontinent is the 2nd volume of my travels; I'm currently writing about Madurai and Trichy in Tamil Nadu.
Terry Grigg A quote from Aleister Crowley would come in handy here "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law." Be yourself.
Terry Grigg You are your own boss, and it's a great way of being creative and expressing yourself the best you can.
Terry Grigg I don't really get writer's block as such, but just have to be in the mood to write. Winter-time is best and late evening/night-time when there are no other distractions.
Terry Grigg I've travelled extensively across the world over the past twenty years, and have already published a book 'Backpacking With A Bunion' about South-East Asia. So why not on other journeys too, the first starting in New Zealand and ending up in Turkey and showing the connections in-between. There will be other volumes to follow
