My most recent book A Savage and His Ridah was written as a form of therapy. I lost my Favorite Aunt February 10th, 2018 to breast cancer. It was a devastating blow and I was gonna quit writing altogether. That was until I decided to immortalized her memory by making her a character in this book. Nana Sunshine is my way of letting the world know her awesomeness and me honoring her memory.
