My book, Liberating Tomas is based on my own life's experience in discovering my sexuality and coming out in 1970.

Sometimes I stop writing for weeks on end. If I can't put my words together on demand, I take a break and think or dream the next part of the book. My best writing comes when I'm not compelled to write, but have new inspiration. Liberating Tomas took four years to finish.
