I have a 130 pages so far which longer than any of the other novellas. It just isn't ready to end, lol. I there are like 8 more things these characters need to do. Soon...

I do all the time! Though more on my own than in an actual future book. I want to publish a fourth book. Maybe someday :)

Jackson's specialty is Advanced Defense, which he basically regards as the least interesting specialty, the one they give to agents not smart enough to do anything else. Or trustworthy enough to know the inside secrets of the other specialties.

Do you mean the characters or the medical world? I feel like the characters have finished their story, at least on my end. But medical stuff...I like it. In fiction anyway. So that's a possibility.

I think it should be ready and published around the end of February!

Mostly Tempest came to me in layers, beginning with Jackson being a secret and fairly new time travel, then the idea of him being stuck two years in the past. Followed by him having to assume the identity of his younger self and re-meeting his girlfriend. Then I had to start asking questions that readers probably ask as they read...why can he time travel? Can anyone else do it? And if yes, where are those people hiding out? The world unfolded from there, growing in size and complexity.

Your enthusiasm is making my day! Don't know how it took me 6 months to see this question!
I had an audio book produced for my self-published YA series through ACX and it didn't cost me anything. The title was chosen for a stipend which meant that ACX paid $1500 to a narrator and because they offered money up front tons of top narrators auditioned so I was able to secure someone perfect for the voice of my main girl in that book. I don't know for sure that ACX would choose Timestorm for a stipend, freeing me of overhead costs but it's possible. However, I still have to wait a bit longer before I can ask for the rights. Currently my publisher owns them. They do a great job with subrights at St. Martin's press so maybe they're working on getting it made still. That would be best.

I have thought about it, though I didn't plan on it originally. I've toyed with some concepts so it's possible...

I love writing this series. It is truly the story of my heart. I have a new part nearly finished and I'm planning to publish around the end of February 2016. I'm just so excited that people like you are actually reading these books :)

I wanted to have a new part out much much sooner, but the other books I'm working on got in the way. I love writing this series. It is truly the story of my heart. I have a new part nearly finished and I'm planning to publish around the end of February 2016

Awesome! I love my international fans! And yes, I'm almost finished with a new LtN part. Planning to publish around the end of February.

Have you read any of my Letters to Nowhere series? That also features a female athlete.

(view spoiler)[So what happened to the Adam that died in the half-jump Jackson did in Vortex? How did he get hurt that ultimately led to his death? (hide spoiler)]
Julie Cross
*Just a warning, this contains Timestorm Spoilers so ignore if you haven't gotten that far in the series yet*
This is a bit tricky to explain, but I'll try my best. Basically when Jackson sees Adam dying while in the Half-jump in Vortex, Adam has just come from the year 3200, were he went undercover as a worker in Eyewall Headquarters. When Jackson ends up in 3200 and they run into Adam, he hasn't made the journey back, and with the help of Jackson and the other time travelers, he's able to protect himself from deathly brain damage on his return to 2009. So basically, Jackson going to the future and Chief Marshall putting the final war-against-Eyewall into place leads to saving Adam's life.

(view spoiler)[Will Timestorm have an audiobook soon? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SAY YES! (hide spoiler)]

I wish I had better news for you, but unfortunately, an audio book of Timestorm wasn't made. I suppose it's possible that rights could revert back to me eventually and I would be allowed to have one created.

Well, my editor was helping me to come up with a title for the book. And I had the CIA division incorporated and it was called the Tempus Division, which means time in Latin. Then my editor came up with Tempest for the title (he's a big Shakespeare fan) and I decided the division should also be called Tempest. Tempest means a strong and violent storm so it has literal meaning in the story (the division name) and figurative meaning (Jackson's life basically turns into a storm when Holly is shot and he's thrown back in time). So yeah, that's basically the really really long version of the story, lol. Hope it helps!

Thanks for reading WLTAY! I don't usually pitch my other books in these situations, but it's quite possible you may enjoy my NA book, THIRD DEGREE. It's actually on sale for .99cents right now.
Pretty much anything by Tammara Webber is a good choice. Especially books 3 and 4 in her Between the Lines series (1 and 2 are more light and fluffy and not as deep as 3 and 4, but still good. You can jump in on 3 without much confusion at all).
Things I Can't Forget by Miranda Kenneally is just like WLTAY in the sense that it's right between YA and NA.
Flat Out Love by Jessica Park is one of my all time favorite NA books. Anything by Katie McGarry (she's another in between writer and she does lots of sports themed). Stir Me Up by Sabrina Elkins.

I would love for it to be available in paperback, but to my knowledge, the digital only Flirt line from Random House doesn't do hard copies. I'm sure if it turned into a mega bestseller or something they'd print some, lol. So maybe... :)

I went to college for a short time to become a physical education teacher but I never did finish. I started writing when I was 29 and it was for fun at first but a year later, I had a book deal so then it was for money. I guess that's when it became a living, well, a small living. I still worked full time until a year and half after signing my first contract.

This came from my love of baseball movies. I wanted to write the YA romance novel version of a baseball movie :)

Wow, I have so many favorite authors! J.K. Rowling, John Green, Rainbow Rowell, Courtney Summers, Louis Lowry, David Levithan, Beth Revis...
