The new Dennis Lehane is on my list because I never miss one of his. I plan to revisit some old friends such as Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden and Harry Potter. I'll be anxiously awaiting the next Inspector Gamache from Louise Penny. And I'll be reading some books on craft; one is You've Got a Book in You by Elizabeth Sims. Actually, I have already started my summer reading, kicking it off with the wonderful The Shadow in the Wind.

Whatever happened to my electric carving knife? I know I had it in North Carolina before I moved to Minnesota. But in Minnesota it was nowhere to be found. Every Thanksgiving I think about that knife and wonder what it's up to.

My best solution when I am stuck is to move. I take a walk until pieces of dialogue or sentences surface in my head. Living in Minnesota, I have a tough time with this method in the winter time. Let's hope I don't get stuck (pun intended) when a blizzard hits.
