I'm currently working on my follow up to A Business Odyssey: How to build a business you can be proud of.
The book aims to cover other aspects of starting a business that I am yet to cover. I think that marketing is a big topic at the moment and as such it will be the focus of my book. Again using personal experience to create a story people can actually relate to.

When I suffer with writers block I usually turn to youtube. I explore a number of videos on the subject I'm writing about until I have consumed a load of content (30-60 mins). Then I usually hit 2 or 3 motivational videos and I usually find at that point I'm good to go again.

My advice to aspiring writers is to start a blog. Write about things, explore what you enjoy writing about, and take some time trying to discover your authentic voice. Once you've done that consistently not only will you have a body of work to draw ideas from, but you'll be more authentic and have a style that is your own.

My most recent book ideas came from my own experience in starting a new business. I made so many mistakes it was laughable, but the more I looked into it I discovered that these mistake are pretty common. I then made it my goal to help people avoid most if not all of the mistakes I made and have a head start in business.

Much of my inspiration comes from personal experiences. I try to look at each thing that happens in and around my life, then I try to peel back the layers and find out all the hidden reasoning and emotions behind things.

Personally I love the way it makes me look at things in more detail. I have to look within myself and explore my true feelings and beliefs, as well as having to focus on being empathetic and understanding others.
