Mellyora Ashley Have you heard that the art of writing is the art of applying the seat of the pants to the seat of the chair? Well, that's what I do. It works.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Mellyora Ashley I like doing the research into the Georgian and Regency eras. It's glorious to explore the actual places I've researched and written about, and doing so with my friends in Europe.
When I complete a book and it's actually out--as happened this week when I released two Regencies--it's a real joy to hear that people are reading them. It's an amazing journey. It's fun to know that others are experiencing these adventures with me.
