L. Renee Richard Hi! I love romance books and psychological thrillers. The perfect marriage was a great book. I love plot twists.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
L. Renee Richard I love when someone contacts me and says they didn't see that ending coming or balled their eyes out after reading my novel. The fact that my story can elicit that type of deep emotion in someone is such a powerful feeling. I have cried over many fictional characters. I understand the connections we develop between characters in a book long after it is finished and shelved.

What books are on your summer reading list this year?
L. Renee Richard Ah, the never-ending TBR. I cannot commit to anything now because it changes all the time. I'll see a book rec instantly landing on the top of my TBR list, pushing others back. You can always see what I read or want to read on my Goodreads account.

How do you get inspired to write?
L. Renee Richard I LOVE to read, but I LOVE to write more. I devour books with a voracious appetite for the HEA. I will exhaust myself in the early morning hours, getting book drunk on the beautiful stories authors have put out into the community of avid readers. I want to make a difference and have people read my book and know that my story gave them the same feeling.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
L. Renee Richard I don my sneakers and hit the road. Sometimes I walk with my iced matcha latte and make a playlist of songs that make me think of the book/characters, but I always remove myself from the feeling of self-doubt. If that doesn't work, there is always wine.

What are you currently working on?
L. Renee Richard You are correct if you were wondering if Emma would have her story. Let's discover what secrets she is hiding. Read all about Emma and Eduardo in book two. It is a standalone, but don't forget how we love an unexpected ending.
