T. Blake Braddy I'm not sure what you're asking, but feel free to friend me, and then I'm sure it will be easier to send me PMs. Thanks!
T. Blake Braddy I'm not terribly crippled by writer's block. I get minor versions of it, but it only usually relates to the way a specific scene or chapter should play out. Very rarely do I get to the point of blocked, because I usually plan out some kind of ending before I begin writing a book.
T. Blake Braddy Write. Every. Day. Whether it's 500 words or 2000 words, you should write every single day. I wake up at 5 am and put 1000 words in the books before I go about my day. If you're serious about becoming a writer, that should be your plan.
T. Blake Braddy My newest book will be a follow-up to 'Boogie House.' Rolson McKane will have a four book 'cycle,' and the second one -- tentatively titled 'The Devil Came Calling' -- will be out this December.
T. Blake Braddy Inspiration comes from all places. The books I read -- I try to get through at least a book per week -- or the movies and TV I watch. I'll see or read something and think, "I could do that."
T. Blake Braddy The idea for 'Boogie House' came from a single mental image: a guy stumbling onto a dead body in an old house. I didn't think it would be a mystery or a detective novel, but that's what it eventually turned into.
