Erik Burnham If I'm stymied on project A, I switch to project B for a bit. It gets the juices flowing.
Erik Burnham At the moment I am working on two comic book miniseries. The first is a crossover -- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Ghostbusters. I'm co-writing that one with Tom Waltz (writer of the TMNT ongoing series at IDW.) I'm also working on Galaxy Quest: The Journey Continues, a comic book sequel to the film.

Oh! And I've co-written three issues of Marvel's New Warriors (10-12) with Chris Yost; the first of those should be out in October.
Erik Burnham There's a lot of good advice out there for writers, but the two best pieces I've heard (and will always pass along) boil down to:

1. Read. A lot. Of everything. It's grist for the mill, sparking ways to do things differently or the same, as well as providing ideas.

2. Finish. You can't spot what needs fixing let alone get something to a reader until it's done... and completion really does give you confidence to do more. Don't let a shiny new idea steal you away. Finish what you start!
