The hubby and I were watching Designated Survivor on Netflix - if you haven't seen it you must check it out! Anyway, I fell in love with the chief of staff Aaron so naturally did some stalking on pinterest. I couldn't believe the hours these guys worked. They were literally going home just to sleep and I said to my husband 'how can anyone in politics have any kind of relationship?' He answered that these people were married to their job and relationships were probably the last thing on their mind.
It got me thinking...what if one of them were put in a position where a relationship is forced on them? One night of taking off their responsible hat and doing something for themselves. What if it resulted in a woman getting pregnant. And I just went from there, obviously changing it to UK politics and researching civil servants with lots of help from friends. Throwing in a spunky heroine who didn't want to sign up to this either added even more fun. You'll have to read how it works out in Whitehall Baby...
