I just released my 6th book (5 fiction, 1 non-fiction) and I am working on a new non-fiction book as well as finalizing another fiction book.

Write every day and every day you will write better. There's no such thing as perfect so stop looking for the perfect opening, the perfect ending, the perfect dialog and so on... the only thing you have to do is finish it. Great stories are not written, they are rewritten. When you finish it, you can start over and make what you have a better - a better opening, a better ending, better dialog, better descriptions. But you have to finish it, so quite chasing perfection because you'll never catch it... a finished story is countless times better than a perfect idea.
