Joseph Mulak The mystery of what I was thinking when I married my first wife.
Joseph Mulak I'm not sure. The idea for Inconvenience came to me almost fully formed. I knew I wanted to write a short thriller and I've had the idea for Callum Doyle in my head for a while now and have some novels in mind for him and when I decided to write a prequel novella, the idea just came to me.
Joseph Mulak That's like asking how do you get inspired to get up and go to work? You do it because it's your job.
Joseph Mulak A mystery novella.
Joseph Mulak Don't listen to advice from other writers. We all have to find our own journey and what works for one person may not work for another. Advice are guidelines and not hard and fast rules, even though some writers pretend they are.
Joseph Mulak Getting feedback from readers. I love interacting with people who have read my work.
Joseph Mulak I sit down and write. Even if what gets written is utter trash, I can edit it later.
Joseph Mulak Yes...and it's based on a true story: There wan an election. Trump won.
Joseph Mulak Middle Earth. I'd head to the shire and hang out with the hobbits. Maybe have an ale or two with sone dwarves, since they're my favourite fantasy race.
Joseph Mulak Well that might be a long question to answer. Since I'm currently working on a fantasy novel, I'm in fantasy reading mode right now. Tad Williams has a new Osten Ard book coming out in July so I'm rereading the original Osten Ard books ( the Memory, Sorrow and Thorn trilogy) so I can read the new book when it comes out. I also started Terry Brooks Shannara series last year, so I plan to read ad many of those this summer as well. If I can get to it, I want to finish David Weber's War God series as well, since I'm only two books into that series and I think there are 5 now.
