I wanted to change my protagonist (I will continue that series eventually), so I decided on a male. I also watch and listen to many true crime podcasts on YouTube. I am a retired nurse, so nurses are my favorite, but I digress. My first protagonist was a nurse, and it was a nursing student who had gone missing many years before. In my new book, I explored what would happen if a class was having a reunion and the year they graduated a classmate went missing and it wasn't solved. I settled on it being a 30th reunion, and I am struggling with the title. The 30th Reunion seems too simple. May have a contest!

I have an idea in my head that spins around for a couple of months, and when I think it is ready and I feel inspired, I start the process. I am a panster, which I learned a while back, Stephen King writes the same way, 'by the seat of your pants.'

A new protagonist, a male, who lives in a small town outside of Atlanta. It is what I am familiar with, so I can visually live it while I am writing. I currently live in coastal NC.

Start writing, but know that is the best part of the process. Enjoy this time while you have it. The first book is easy. Then you have a lot to do before starting your next one.

The writing process. I love developing the characters and the plot. It is my instinct to forge ahead, and I love having characters do things I would never do. I hope that makes sense.

Relax, rinse, repeat. It will pass.

Not sure what the question means. I don't live in fantasy at all. If I could live anywhere besides the best country, the USA, I would live in Ireland.

My second book, A Lie More Real Than Truth, is about someone who went missing from a popular Atlanta mall (Lenox Square for anyone from Atlanta) in 1965. I was only 15 then, and I was curious about everything. I have always wondered what happened to her. Her name was Mary Shotwell Little.
My other mystery came about 3 years ago when I discovered I had a half-brother. I was born 5 years before me, so it wasn't a case of an affair. My father had not met my mother then. Unfortunately, he is deceased (my brother) so it is a shame, I never knew of him. It would make for a good novel.
