Thanks for the question! I didn't find the transition too difficult, it was really a lot of fun and very refreshing to write something in a totally different medium, very different from what I'm used to. I do have plans for more novels, but the next one might be closer to sci-fi.

Sit down and write. Don't make excuses, find the time and do it. Don't let anyone tell you you're not good enough, most of all yourself. The only common factor between all the successful writers I know is that none of them ever gave up.

Mostly from the old-fashioned monster movies that I loved as a kid, and to some extent I was inspired by John Carpenter's The Thing. And since I've mostly written sci-fi I really wanted to try my hand at fantasy for a change.

Usually by reading great writing, although that can go both ways. Sometimes you read something so great it almost makes you want to quit because you feel like you'll never be that good no matter how hard you try.

We're currently going through a final edit on Abomination and working on the cover art. I'm also writing the film adaptation of the Mark Millar comic Starlight and working on my own comic, Oliver, which is a post-apocalyptic adaptation of Dickens' Oliver Twist.
