William J. Jackson Waking up! Well, let's be more specific. I get an idea and occasionally outline it in a notebook. However, the best for me is once an idea pops into my head, I research if needed. Then, like a plant needs water, I feed it mentally with internal questions, and let it alone. Every day/week it grows and becomes more fluid in my mind. Then I write.
