Warren Rochelle What mystery in my own life could be the plot for a book? The first thing that comes to mind is one who my father's real father was. All my brothers and I know is that my grandmother got "in trouble," and got help in finding a husband from her sister and brother-in-law. The man who gave my father a last name left when Daddy was six and never saw him again. Daddy's real father remains a mystery.

Warren Rochelle I've been inspired by dreams, my own and those of others. I have been inspired by fairy tales and myths. I have asked myself "what if" questions, and followed the answer. I was inspired by a writing prompt I gave my creative writing students. I have been inspired by places, people, things .... When I need inspiration, I read, I write in my journal, I dream.

Warren Rochelle I am working on a novel called The Werewolf and His Boy and a collection of short stories that are retellings of traditional fairy tales from a gay perspective.
Warren Rochelle I am going to answer this question based on the book on which I am currently working, The Werewolf and His Boy. I got the initial idea from a dream my partner had about a mysterious monster, a werewolf, hiding in Lowe's.
