Hi Eileen, I would love to meet you at your book signing, but Wisconsin is to far from Syracuse, NY. Would you ever consider coming to Syracuse? If I had the money,I would come to N.Y.C. I love to sing New York New York at Karaoke.. Nancy Herman- Davis

Eileen Goudge I would love that, too, but I have no book signings planned. The town I stay at in Wisconsin is so tiny, it doesn't even have a bookstore. There's just the public library. I go there simply to write and draw inspiration from the landscape.

I won a copy of the replacement Wife on Oct. 1 and as of Dec. 16 I have not yet received said copy. Could you check into this for me?

Eileen Goudge Brian, I contacted my publisher who informs me the delay was due to an oversight. They apologize and are sending you an additional copy to make up for it. Sorry this happened. You should have your copies shortly.

Eileen, are you related to the English Author Elizabeth Goudge? She is one of my favorite authors.

Eileen Goudge Yes, I'm a distant relation. My aunt Betty (Elizabeth) visited her in England several times during her lifetime and they kept up a correspondence, so I have letters and photos. It's nice keeping up the family tradition, as a writer.

Yes, please tell us your new book will be available in Hardback format. I don't have a Kindle and don't want to be left out of any of your fabulous books.

Eileen Goudge Thank you for asking, Linda! I would love nothing more than to have BONES AND ROSES available in print. Unfortunately it's not possible at this time, though I'm hoping I'll be able to add a print edition to the lineup before too long. As soon as I have something to report, I'll be sure and let everyone know.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Eileen Goudge During a walk on the beach. Maybe that's why I decided to set my mystery series in a seaside town!

How do you get inspired to write?

Eileen Goudge Inspiration strikes at odd times, so I keep a notebook or my iPhone on hand at all times to make note of random musings.
