Anne K. Howard Keep at it! Paraphrasing Stephen King, "What are you doing sitting here at a Writers Conference talking about how to write- get home and get writing!" This sound advice is reiterated in the Nike motto, "Just do it!" Here is a little write up from my hometown newspaper in Massachusetts about my background as a writer. What it does not say is that I have two other full-length, 20-year old manuscripts in my cupboard that are collecting dust. I never even submitted them to agents or publishers. Anne K. Howard In February 2015, I started a blog, "Serial Murders in Connecticut," about some unsolved serial murders that occurred not far from my home in the late eighties and early nineties. The blog has since evolved and includes many posts about various solved and unsolved murders in the Nutmeg state and Massachusetts. When William Devin Howell was named as a person of interest in the 2003 murders of seven individuals found behind a busy strip mall in New Britain, Connecticut, it was sort of a no-brainer for me to initiate contact with him and see if he was interested in my writing a book about him. The case was very dramatic, and I knew, based on the prosecution's evidence, that he would someday take the infamous title of "Connecticut's Most Prolific Serial Killer."
