I think it would have to be Narnia, I adore nature, animals and the thought of going back to no internet, no phones, just a little magic and beautiful surroundings fills me with joy. Of course, as I get older, the thought of living a whole new life without aging appeals to me too!

I am loving Japanese fiction at the moment - Before the Coffee Gets Cold - Sweet Bean Paste, The Woman in the Purple Skirt, they're just wholesome slices of life with a lovely humour. I have Yellowface on my list, along with Abroad in Japan, but also some others from favourite authors such as Lisa Jewell, a great friend, and Alex Marwood. I love how they tap into the female psyche.

I climbed into bed happy that I'd booked a digital detox escape for a week, alone, to gather my thoughts. When I awoke I couldn't move my limbs or speak, I could only blink.
