Where do the ideas for your characters and your plots come from?

Tabitha Winters Hi, Joe! I pull my ideas from my work as well as some very strange dreams. I spent far too much time reading comics and watching horror movies as a kid, so I'm guessing that plays a part. Thanks for your question!

Can you tell us a two-sentence horror story?

Tabitha Winters The tinny music clanged, its discordant tones echoing as the children laughed, clamoring for the popsicles and pushups dispersed jovially by Mr. Jenkins, that sweet retired soul who loved nothing more than to make the children happy. Fighting to rise, she opened her mouth but no scream came, replaced only by the drip, drip, drip, as her blood bled out on the floor of the van, her vision hazy as she sunk back into unconsciousness.
