Hiya! The setting was a combination of various ideas/inspirations. Initially I wanted to do a near future SF but it turns out I'm not very good at tech! So I kept the city but changed various bits so it was fantasy. Other than that Bladerunner was a big influence on the atmosphere as well as Dan Abnett's massive cities in the Warhammer books.
