How do you deal with writer’s block?

Scott A. Merriman I deal with writer's block by setting deadlines and giving myself word goals. The deadlines are the big issues as without deadlines I find that I procrastinate, or do not produce worthwhile material. The word goals make sure that I make adequate progress.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Scott A. Merriman My most recent book was inspired by the Hobby Lobby controversy. I thought that the court glossed over the history of the religious exemption controversy and that more attention was needed.
