Middle Earth, hands down. It may be a cliche answer, but cliches are that way for a reason. Tolkien's world is a masterpiece and I would be so lucky to visit it. I would go see the battlefields, the crumbling halls, Gondor, Rohan, and Mirkwood. I would see it all, become a traveling bard, using prose to immortalize my travels - no matter how small and insignificant.

Take a break. If you can't write and get frustrated with yourself, it kills all creativity. Taking regular breaks to take care of yourself and your mental health is important. I don't care what anyone says, writing is hard work and you should absolutely step away at times. That being said, sometimes pushing through is the best strategy, or writing something fun and new. Immerse yourself in things you enjoy, music, art, books, or shows. Let yourself romanticize things and be inspired by everything. My point is, try a few different things and then, when you're ready, return to your writing. You'll be surprised at what you come up with when you're refreshed and revitalized.

It actually came to me in a dream, as cliche as it sounds. I just couldn't shake it, and the characters kept forming and becoming (yes, the pun is intended) people whose stories I needed to tell. Especially Daux. When I started writing things down, the ideas started blossoming into a story.
