Hi Liz. i just finished reading Hooked( loved it) and i'm going to start on played tonight( can't wait, Riley seems like a really nice girl). I loved reading about the Indian reservation and a little about their culture in Hooked. What made you write about it? P.S George trueblood is my favorite character!
Liz Fichera Hi Sanjana! I got the idea for the story while hiking in an area alongside the Gila River Community. That, plus I have some really good Native friends who read many drafts and encouraged me to keep going. (I love George Trueblood too--glad you did as well!). Hi Liz. I just finished Played. I really liked it. Will there be any more books in this series? I would like to see Martin, Sam's BFF, get his own story line as well as Drew. Also, I hate to say it, but I'd like Jay Hawkins to get his own bad boy gone good story line. I would also like to see the progress between Fred & Ryan; Riley and Sam. Thanks again for the Hooked series.
Liz Fichera I'm so glad! And thanks so much for reading the story. At this point, there are no other books planned in the HOOKED series. But, never say never. :) I do believe Martin needs his own story, and Jay could have an interesting storyline too. Thanks for your review!

Liz Fichera Two more YAs and I'm toying with literary fiction historical.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Liz Fichera Keep writing. And read as much as you write.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Liz Fichera I usually work on two projects at once. When one gives me fits, I put it down and work on the second one. If both are driving me crazy, I usually go for a long hike in the desert.
