Thanks for your question--I have a personal policy of not answering things like this because I think it's better left to the reader's imagination. In general, I don't like to add or retcon things from my books after they are published--if it didn't make it in the finished version, then it's up to the reader to decide their interpretation.

I would love to see any of my books on the big screen, but it's not really something I get to determine! Adaptations are massively expensive and require experienced producers and a team with funding to get off the ground. I've come close a few times but it's exceptionally rare for a book adaptation to actually make it to the screen. I'll keep hoping!

Depression and anxiety certainly haven't made it easy, but writing in general is not a straightforward profession. Anything that requires self-motivation is tricky, and learning to balance your life against your writing time can be very challenging.

Billie was my first choice, when she agreed to the project and the scheduling lined up I was thrilled. She's unbelievably talented, and I'm so glad you enjoyed her performance as much as I did!

(view spoiler)[I loved the book "Asylum", but may I ask are the photos in the book real? It looks realistic, and I was wondering if this book was based on a true story, most likely not, but when I first found the cover of this book, I thought it was non-fiction. (hide spoiler)]
Madeleine Roux
It's fiction. Many of the characters and events are inspired by true events, but the story is fictional. The photos are largely taken from archives, and are real, and some were staged to fit the plot of the novel.

Well naturally, being raised by wolves in the Swiss Alps played a huge role in my early development. To this day, the sound of an alpine horn sends me into a bloodthirsty rage.

Sorry, Carly, I won't be doing your book report for you.

(view spoiler)[I just completed your "House of Furies" novel and found it completely captivating. Will this series be a two book series or o trilogy? (hide spoiler)]
Madeleine Roux
Thanks for reading! House of Furies is a trilogy, the third and final book, Tomb of Ancients, will be released on May 14th!
Madeleine Roux
At this point, no, I wouldn't. I won't say never, but the series feels complete to me, and I personally don't like when a series goes on for too long.
