Kristina Stangl Hi Emma!

Thank you for your kind words! I really appreciate it :)

Right now, I have a couple of projects in the works. One is a brand new stand alone romantasy novel that’s in the early stages of development, and the second is the next installment to The Enchanted Forest Saga that will be released later on this year.

In terms of a sneak peek, I can reveal that the sequel to The Curse of the Dark Horseman will pick up right where we last left off and Henry’s and Kassie’s daughter, Violet, will take center stage. This novel, like the rest of the upcoming novels in this series, will be a stand alone. However, if you read the first book, then I think you’ll also come to enjoy the second book even more and appreciate the many Easter eggs scattered across. The second novel will also delve into the backstories and origins to some of the characters in the first book.

Also, the next installment will follow Violet and her epic journey into the enchanted forest, as well as the grand adventures she encounters. Her arc will serve to establish the other upcoming future novels set in this series. If you’re a lover of adventure, romance, fantasy, an enemies-to-lovers tale, then I think you’ll enjoy this upcoming story.

Stay tuned for more!

All the best,
Kristina
Kristina Stangl Dear Robin,

Thank you for your question and for being a new fan. That certainly makes my day :)

My advice to all indie authors is to treat your craft like a small business. As an indie author, you will have to wear many, many hats. Starting from the creation process to the actual writing and editing stages, all the way down to the marketing and promotion. It's a busy job with an endless amount of tedious tasks along the way, but no matter what, never get discouraged. Stay persistent and relentless.

Furthermore, as indie authors, we will often be under the microscope and more vulnerable to harsher criticism; however, please don't let that discourage you. Your writing is your art, and you will only further grow and get better with each passing challenge. Stay true to yourself and continue to pursue your dreams.

Just like an attorney running a small firm, rather than operating within a large corporation; or a doctor choosing to work in their private practice instead of a hospital, indie authors are much of the same.

As long as you continue to work hard, keep an open mind and remain positive to any and all challenges, then I believe that every indie author has the potential to succeed.

All the best,

Kristina Stangl

Glad to hear that you enjoyed reading my novels! That certainly makes my day :)

To answer your question, yes, there will be a follow up novel to "The Curse of the Dark Horseman." I do plan on turning this into a new series of upcoming novels. The second novel is currently in the works and will be released sometime in the near future.

Please stay tuned!

Kristina Stangl I'd travel anywhere within the realms of Jane Austen's universe, in a heartbeat. Most likely, I'd be outside in the garden, reading a book and drinking a fine cup of afternoon tea.
Kristina Stangl Determined to have her much needed cup of coffee to start her upcoming day, Kristina opened her kitchen's cupboard door and grabbed her canister. However, upon opening it, she soon realized, much to her own horror and dismay, that all of the previous remaining coffee grounds from the day before, were now, all completely gone... oh my!
