The sequel to The Dogs of War. There are some major real world events involving the characters, and I need to ensure I get them right.

Sounds trite, but - I write. Anything. Doesn't matter if it's utter trash. Just get words down on the page. You can delete them later.

In no particular order:

- Neverwhere, Neil Gaiman
- The Battle for Syria, Christopher Phillips
- Flashman and the Redskins, George MacDonald Fraser

I think there's events in everyone's lives that a compelling author can turn into a book. I care nothing about golf, but when George Macdonald Fraser wrote about it in Macauslan, I was hooked - likewise with his descriptions of cricket in Flashman's Lady, a sport that to this day I don't know the rules to. Likewise, when Steven Pressfield wrote about long range trucking Government Cheese, or Stephen King about Little League Baseball.
