I am currently working on the third installment of this poetry Trilogy. Love, Beneath the Sagitta really focused on my love of writing, and my love for the nostalgia felt when looking back. Life, Above the Fog focused on the most recent, truly massive, change in my life. And the third and final will focus on my relationship with my partner. 15 years we have been together, through each other's desperate lows along with our own soaring highs; and of course, everything in between.

I am inspired by the life around me. My poem "Cicada's Prophesied," from Life, Above the Fog was inspired by the song of the Cicadas here during the summertime. Their tales bring my partner and I such joy and we can't help but feel uplifted when we hear them.

My most recent book: Life, Above the Fog, is focused on the transition from my firmly established life in Texas through the upheaval of my family and moving to rural Tennessee. A change that has been met with Laughter and Joy, but has also plunged us into deep sadness and fear. The story focuses on Life and the joys associated with it; the Fog, and the deep sadness and loneliness felt within it; and finally Above, the ascension into the unknown before us.
