Hi Martha, although this is often credited to me, I did not write the quote. I have tried to find the person who did, but have been unsuccessful, so I am unable to give permission. However, the quote was obviously written by someone who cares deeply about rescue dogs, so I feel sure that they wouldn't object to you using it!

Hi Kevin, I am often cited as the author of that quote, but although it is one of my favourite quotes, I didn't write it. I have tried to find the original source, but have been unable to do so. I am sure, that who ever did write it, has a huge heart and compassion for animals, so I can't imagine that it would be a problem using it for your purposes! I wish to thank your friend for working and dedicating their time to rescue animals, it is such important work.

You can't force creativity. If I hit a wall, I take my dogs down the woods or the beach, and let my subconscious work on the problem without me hindering the process. When it is good and ready it reveals the next step.
