I do own a “Carl”, in fact he is the 6th one, but all of them have had their own names (Carl is their nom de plume). The current one is named, Abelard.

The most recent one was Carl’s Valentine. We thought making a valentine was something Carl would do for his beloved little mistress.

I am primarily a visual artist, and our company needed an illustrator for The Teddy Bears’ Picnic, that we wanted to publish as a children’s book. I was at that time a painter, so I thought I’d take a crack at illustration.

I’m not currently working on a book. I’ve been creating some cards and notebooks for our publishing company, Laughing Elephant.
