I do own a “Carl”, in fact he is the 6th one, but all of them have had their own names (Carl is their nom de plume). The current one is named, Abelard.

I am primarily a visual artist, and our company needed an illustrator for The Teddy Bears’ Picnic, that we wanted to publish as a children’s book. I was at that time a painter, so I thought I’d take a crack at illustration.
