The idea for my most recent book, The Alchemy of Love & Marriage, came from my own life - specifically, a time when life's stresses seemed to put our relationship on a path of no return. It was one of the most challenging periods my husband and I had ever faced, but through a focus on communication, the willingness to change, and choices we made based on those, we were able to repair the cracks that had formed. What followed was not only the survival of our marriage, but its greatest period. My goal was to share stories both good and the bad to reinforce my belief that marriage (the whole) is greater than the sum of its parts (two individuals).

The key is to keep writing and share your words with whomever has an interest in reading what you have to say. Eventually, a publishing vehicle will present itself. Write about something you know or something you care about.
