Writer's block, for me, invariably means something's wrong with the bit I've written so far--it doesn't go where the story ought to go, it's caused some horrid complication or inconsistency that my conscious brain hasn't noticed yet, or it's wimping out of a more affecting plot line.
Since I have the luxury of schedule, usually this means I go and work on something else while my hindbrain chews on the problem; eventually it reports back about what needs to be fixed.

Currently I'm working on a fantasy story tentatively titled "Mr. Maybe and Doctor Don't"; it's about a young boy named Henry who strikes out with his father and his father's old compatriots to find out what's happened to his long-lost mother. I'm trying hard to avoid setting it in Generic Fantasyland, a la Ursala Vernon's lovely complaint on the subject.
After that, there may be some lurking Arthurian fiction, and then perhaps a return to science fiction--fans have been clamoring for a sequel to Duplicate.
