I got hooked on reading Tom Clancy's books many years ago (Hunt for Red October) etc. His writing style (lots of characters, frequent POV changes and a ton of dialogue) really appealed to me. I have adapted his style to my semi-historical medieval fantasy tales and it seems to work well.

I am in the final stages of finishing episode 3 of my medieval fantasy trilogy. The title is THE SCIONS OF SCOTIA and it should be available in early January 2015. Personally, I have never had 'writer's block'. If I'm stuck on a particular page in my work, I pop onto Google and run a search about that person, place or thing in the scene. That almost always helps spark something new in my head so that I can finish that page or that chapter.
