Leanne Tyler Vicky,
Thanks for asking. Yes I am writing more books in the Chicago Protection Task Force series. Loverboy comes out June 9th, 2020 and Wyatt comes out after that. I'd like to do another book or two in the series if I can, but we shall have to wait and see if the stories come. I might discover another series for the Brotherhood Protectors World needs to be told instead or have a few stand alone books. We never know what the muse brings.
Leanne Tyler Two things come to mind that are the best thing about being a writer. One is during the writing process when you get lost in a story line and are not able to type fast enough because the words are flowing and you want to share everything playing out in your head with the reader as you see it. Second is after you have written a book and get reader feedback about how it was the best book they ever read. It amazes me to hear that from a reader. Not every book will get that praise, but it can happen when you least expect it.
Leanne Tyler When I get stuck then I will sometimes try to work on something else if I have an idea that I know where the story line is going. If not, I have even been known to pull out something old that I wrote years ago when I first started writing. Sometimes your best writing is the raw, unpolished work that you cut your teeth on and can be brought to life again with a fresher set of eyes. Other times I will read or binge watch Pride and Prejudice to get my creativity flowing again.
Leanne Tyler I would tell them to write daily. Learn all you can about the craft of writing and the business, but not to let that overshadow your creativity. Listen to your muse and let your characters tell their story.
Leanne Tyler A Christmas novella to go into a print book Christmas release of two connected novellas. Charming the Holidays should be ready by September, if not, shortly after.
Leanne Tyler The Good Luck Clover came about after a reader told me a secondary character in The Good Luck Potion really needed his own story. I hadn't thought about doing one for him, but after being told that I got to thinking maybe I could write one for Brandon and I did. I hope my readers enjoy it as much as I did writing it.
