I've just finished reading The Flowers at Flood House...I've always thought dried flowers looked creepy - now I know why...🥀 Can't wait to read the rest of your books. How long does it normally take you to perfect a story?

J.J. Walker Thanks so much for the question, and for reading The Flowers at Flood House. I appreciate it! Every story is different but, honestly, I like that. Knowing when something feels 'right' is an important part of the process and getting there is what makes a story feel alive. Some flow from start to finish and others take a little more time and a lot more thinking. I also don't outline much and instead prefer to see where the story takes things, which may have an impact too.
