I find inspiration from mundane, daily tasks. For example: I recently got a new kitten, and she's integrating with my chonky potato of a three-year-old cat. They were chirping at each other, and I wondered what they were saying. My mind immediately jumped to, "Hey. That's a great idea for a new series. Have two people who don't speak the same language try to express their feelings." It's been done before, I know, like in Love Actually, but I'd be willing to put my own spin on it. Anyway, yeah, inspiration is everywhere. You just have to look.
