In Fantasy, the classic writers CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien inspire me the most. Lewis's Narnia series and his space trilogy made me want to write about other worlds and possibilities. And more recently, Harry Potter of course and Ursula Le Guin's EarthSea trilogy and Hunger Games and.. and ..and .. I read whatever I can!

When I was eleven, I wanted to start an organization called The Animal Police to stop people hurting animals (even frogs and cockroaches!). SO I based Parallax on this feeling of injustice I had. What if the world could really be like the one in my imagination?
