W.L. Swarts [Not a fair question for me; my books are set in a shared universe just a little askew from this one, so my entire library is the answer to this question in that my protagonists do the things I would...]

W.L. Swarts Tough question only because of "recent."
The genesis of the children's book series is very well-documented in our Kickstarter at: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...
For the current work in process... "Unnamed Perils Policy Claim" introduced some characters I truly enjoyed and a place I was incredibly excited to flesh out. In fact, there's a line in the book that essentially is a character saying, "shut up about this place, we've gotten way too far off track." She was right, but the place is so weird and cool that when I was writing about it, I knew I wanted to revisit it.
So, given where "Unnamed Perils Policy Claim" ended, there was a really exciting and obvious story thread and characters for me to continue with and at virtually every opportunity away from doing the business of publishing and promoting, I've been very happily plugging away at this de facto sequel. :)
W.L. Swarts I'm a hermit.

W.L. Swarts Don't.
Goodreads wants a longer answer. Seriously, don't.
W.L. Swarts Once the idea is typed out, it stops living in my head. Refining is much less pressure than writing the initial concept.
W.L. Swarts I'll let you know if I ever get it.
