As referenced in answer above: I was mowing my grass and found a bunny's nest. The idea for Welcome Baby Bunnies was born in my front yard! By the time I had finished mowing that morning - I had a good part of the book written in my head.

Preparing the next volume of the Knothole Reflections on Life's Parade series. Hope to have it out by middle of 2016. I am also finishing a couple children book projects. Plan to have at least one of them completed by year's end.

IF you can NOT write - don't write! Once you decide that you MUST write - never walk away from writing. Write something as often as possible. Never stop learning and developing your craft. However, do not allow yourself to become a slave to the keyboard. Take your writing out of the office occasionally. Most of all: Have fun with your gift!

The longest period of writer's block that I can recall lasted only about 3 weeks. I used that time to rest my creative side and to ponder other topics for future projects.
