Leandra Martin I usually put things aside for a little while and then come back to it. When I think I can get back into the mode- I will read through whatever I wrote last and usually with that the ideas start flowing again. Writer's block usually happens to me when I'm particularly stressed with other aspects of my life.
Leandra Martin just to keep writing and never stop. Write something every day- it doesn't matter what it is. A diary entry. A thankful journal. A blog post. Keeping the juices flowing is what keeps your ideas coming. Look around you wherever you are, there is always a story somewhere.
Leandra Martin The freedom to travel, and when I say that I mean metaphorically. I can go anywhere, be anyone, and do anything. I love stretching the imagination and seeing where it can take me. I also love the fact that I can do it any time, whenever I feel like it, with no expectations or restrictions. It's the best job in the world.
Leandra Martin I am currently working on 2 different projects, which I've been told is "overly ambitious". They are both Fantasy books. 1 is about a writer who goes into her made-up world to try and save it from doom. The other is about a boy and his sister, who both have preordained destinies, and separately have to fight to become who they need to be in order to bring order to the kingdom.
