What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Carolyn R. Parsons Keep writing. It seems cliche but it's true. Also, be prepared to write crap. You have to shovel a lot of dirt to find the hidden treasure. Don't expect your draft to be perfect or even all that good but from the draft you can eke out something good, perhaps even great. Also, learn to love editors. You will learn more from an experienced/honest editor than you will from anybody else.
