What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Laura Spinella The house I live in, for sure. I believe the house and its spirit population are my muse by default if not intention!

I am almost done with "Ghost Gifts." What a fantastic read!! I couldn't put it down. Are you thinking about following up with this book? You knocked it out of the park with this story and should really consider it.

I think any future Aubrey Ellis stories would be up to the publisher--they'd have to request another book. I'm certainly open to the idea!

Hi Laura - Just finished reading Ghost Gifts - I too would like to see a follow up - maybe how the romance survives the ups and downs of her 'gift' and maybe more crimes to solve. Any chance of more to follow? Ann xxx
Laura Spinella Hi Ann! Thank you for the message and for reading Ghost Gifts! Gosh, I am really surprised I keep getting this question! I haven't thought seriously about a follow up to Levi & Aubrey's story--but I may have to!

I don't know? Maybe they do team up as a most unique investigative reporting duo! Stay tuned and we'll see!

Is Ghost Gifts the only one of your books available for Kindle so far? I just bought it for my daughter and tried looking for the other books.

Right now there is no sequel in the works for Ghost Gifts (ghosts are pretty exhausting) I am working on edits for Unstrung, my next Laura Spinella novel.

But you never know--I seem to be getting the question a lot!

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Laura Spinella It's an odd confession. Years ago a friend dragged me to a Goo Goo Dolls concert. They were a lot younger and so was I. I thought lead singer Johnny Rzeznik was so good-looking he made your teeth ache. I had a great time. Afterward, the concert was over and life went on. I didn't think any more about the Goo Goo Dolls, but that imagery stayed in the back of my mind. Fast forward a couple of decades to a character who needed a love interest. I had already settled on Isabel, who she was and what she wanted. She came with a topsy-turvy kind of life, but I needed a plot twist to make things that much more interesting. Enter Aidan Roycroft, a long ago friend who's now one of the world's biggest rock stars. He's not the guy you're expecting, and you just might find that Perfect Timing is not your average love story.
