Well, actually I've long been finished with the third and last in my memoir trilogy -'Nobody Gets Out Of Catering Alive' - just waiting to get the cover together and then it should be out within a month. Shorter book than my first two, but I think just as funny, raw and truthful. This one encompasses the 90s in New York - nervous breakdowns, spiritual searches, performance, the horrors of catering and broken noses. All in good cheer!
The one I may start working on soon will be about my adventures in the jungles of Ecuador and Peru in the early 2000s! Keep a lookout!

The best advice I can give to aspiring writers is to just be sure to make time to sit and write, It's a commitment, a priority, a promise to yourself. Always treasure your creativity, and remember all art is a process, you don't necessarily receive instant gratification. Also, don't think you are going to be an instant success and a millionaire!

For me - it's the sense that I can write something entertaining and interesting regarding events that have taken place in my life over the years, and have it be meaningful and impactful for others when they read it. It's a sense of this creativity that flows inside you - a kind of release - and sense of accomplishment all at the same time. For me, writing can be very grounding and therapeutic, and satisfies the urge and need to create.

I don't really experience writer's block very often, because I am writing memoirs - so the events are true...the only time I really get stumped for a bit is figuring out which is the best event to write about, the most interesting for the reader. I usually write it over and over again (long-hand), till it starts to take the form I want it to - or sometimes, it doesn't work at all and I don't use it. Really, I can write the same scene over, like, 25 times, till I get the flow, the rythm and the voice I want.
