Growing up, I would start writing books and then throw them away around chapter 7 because I would think they were trash. Never let your self-criticism stop you. If anything, put the book away for a bit, then come back to it.

Currently, I'm working on getting my 2nd book to the editor. I'm working on a few other books at the same time. I take breaks from editing my second book by writing others so I don't get burned out so much with it.

This question has multiple answers for me. I could have a dream and run with an idea off of it. I could be at the gym working out, and an idea hit me. I remember when I was in my early 20s, I had this interesting MC experience with my sister and her bad boy phase. Recently when I was recalling it, I decided to write a book inspired by it. Any little thing in your life can spark inspiration, you just have to run with it and get creative.

I was on Tik Tok and noticed this trend going around. It hit me that what if I took the trend but tweaked it and used it as a way for characters to meet each other? It all went from there. The Girlfriend Application was born after that.

Usually, I'll step away from the book for a while. Sometimes, it will be a week or months before I start working on it again. I go about my daily life, and that's when it hits me how to continue it. There's no true way to deal with it. Let the characters help you along.
