Why oh why is "Nun too Soon" listed as first in the series when clearly it is not?
Alice Loweecey 😊 It's because I signed with a new publisher after Veiled Threat. We chose to do a small reboot to the series and jump it forward 2 years in Giulia's tomeline.

I don't have a question, but want to let you know I absolutely love your books. I was taught by Nuns for 12 year; an Aunt and two Great-Aunts were Nuns, a first cousin who left the convent and married a dispensed priest and an Uncle a Priest. I have laughed through your books (am on the last one); have enjoyed the heck out of them. Will you please keep up this wonderfully, delightful series? Next one ordered.

How was your association with your publisher established? Did you have multiple alternatives or choices? Did you get a royalty or is therea difference or in conteact based upon geography, e.g. domestic or international, or media type, e.g. trade paper back, hard cover , paper back, electronic or audio? Are there any contract clauses or sales targets which enable either party to terminate the long term obligations?
Alice Loweecey Thanks for asking. My agent worked out the deal with my publisher. However, I don't discuss the details of my contract.

Hi, I am sure you usually get asked why a former nun in the role of P.I. However, my question is why did you call her "Giulia"? Noone can ever say my name right:)
Alice Loweecey Hello, Giulia! I chose that name because it's Italian and (I thought) easy to pronounce. i get asked so many times how to pronounce it. :) I even had a character in my very first book, Force of Habit, say it syllable by syllable. People told me they didn't remember the character doing it. LOL. Nice to meet you.

I don't see any reference to "nuns" in the plots of your books, so I'm puzzled by the the titles.
Alice Loweecey Hi, Pam--Giulia, my sleuth, is a former nun, plus in the second book, Back in the Habit, she goes undercover as a nun again into her old convent. Nun references occur throughout all of the books. --Alice
