have you ever enjoyed reading romance and have you ever read any romance books?

Gerald J. Kubicki My life has been full of romance and adventure. The two main characters in my books, Colton Banyon and Loni Chen, have had a continous romance for over ten years now as well. But generally, I don't read romance novels.

Do your books contain much violence or bad language?

Gerald J. Kubicki Every single one of my books has some violence, but none are over the top.. bit there is rarely any bad language in any of my books. The bad guys always deserve it, but not the readers.

sorry but I have problems with too many names and places and read 2 prequels and book 1 and really no idea what going on, and since don't want to give low review based on my just not getting point/understanding going to pass on review part to be fair but just can't understand the stories etc so no idea what else to do to be fair, so not review at all ?

I was looking at your books and I think I just fond another Author to read. Which book would you suggest I start with? They all look great.

My first book is A Dubious Mission-The Aryan Tablet, but I'd actual start with the Westhampton Hurricane and the Westhampton Scare. They are prequils to A Dubious mission.

Gerald J. Kubicki Good question. Kristopher is my middle son. He does not have a website nor does he have a facebook account because he basically does research and advises me on high tech subjects I am not very familiar with. He does have a Google account and if you go there you will see that he is an inventor and owner of some high tech companies. I usually don't include his bio on things that pertain to me.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Gerald J. Kubicki The simple answer is the Star Ship Enterprise. I've been intrigued by the series since I was in college. To boldly go... I try to go to some of those places in the twenty-eight books I've written, althought I'm still earthbound.

How do you come up with fresh ideas for your books?

Gerald J. Kubicki I have several websites that I visit regularly, I make notes on information that interests me. I have visited every location of my 28 books except one, maybe you can figure out which one. I am also a mystery strategy buff and an avid reader for that genre. The characters usually contain elements of people I know. Then I pick one from column A, one from column B and so on. Sometimes it takes several months to put the plot together, but they always come.

What books are on your summer reading list this year?

Gerald J. Kubicki My second Westhampton book will be out in mid-summer. Definite beach book. I'm immediately starting on the third book to make a trilogy about Westhampton.
I read most anything that catches my attention. The summer will be the same.

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Gerald J. Kubicki Actually, there are many. In fact the reason I'm currently writing my book second book about Westhampton is that I encountered some in my youth. Or was it because I was a youth?

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Gerald J. Kubicki I have to say Colton Banyon and his mysterious and baffling, but always reliable partner, Loni Chen. They have been together for ten years and are still going strong. She continues to change and reveal her past and he stays the same steady pace. They still have fun together.

are you sending phyiscal books or ebooks? just asking because i dont' do ebooks. There is just something special about holding a physcial book that i love

Gerald J. Kubicki I used to be that way my self, but now use a kindle. Have never been happier. I still like to read hardcovers, but not very often. I do sell paperback books which are nearly the same. I give away three books during the giveaway each month on this site. I can't do much more are they are expensive to buy and ship. About the same as buying from a store.

I don't know what it is but I have a hard time reading ebooks. I have to have a book in my hand to read. Maybe it's the feel of the pages. Is that sound weird?

What genre do you write mainly about?

Gerald J. Kubicki My main genre is Action Adventure. The books are mystery/thrillers and center around an artifact hunter(Colton Banyon) who is often saving someone or the world. My books have some paranormal activity and sometimes some science fiction.

my question is this i have the 3 books series The Polish Discovery: The Society of Orion as well as The Society of Orion: The Orion Codex .so can you please tell me what number are they in the series?

Gerald J. Kubicki Thanks for the question. The Polish Discovery contains the first three books in the series. The Orion Codex is #4. So you have the first four books. The Tayos Caves is #5. I've also published #6 The Moroccan Affair.
The last two books in the series will be published before Christmas.
#7 is The Society of Orion: The Turkish Findings -Scheduled for November.
#8 is The Society of Orion: Sumi Collison - Scheduled for December.

How do you come up with names of characters in the books?

Gerald J. Kubicki Most of my characters are friends of mine. They let me use their names. The foreign names I pick from a google search of ethnic names. I try to match the name with what I feel is the character. Sometimes I change a name three or four times before I get it rught.
