Lucinda Moebius The best part of being a writer is it allows me to take the stories that have been bouncing around inside of my head for years, out them on paper and share them with the world.
I've identified myself as a writer since I was a child and seeing my words in print just makes me feel happy.
i love talking to my readers and seeing how much they enjoy my stories. I write the stories because I love writing.
Lucinda Moebius I just finished my Doctoral Dissertation so my fiction writing has been on the shelf for about nine months. I have written about 1/3 of book 3 in the Haven series and am about 1/10 of the way into the second book in the Soul Eaters series.
I alternate between the two books and write when I can. I hope to finish the Haven novel by February 2016 and the Soul Eaters book by March 2016.
Lucinda Moebius I put in something for backfround noise. Usually a TV series on Netflix, an action movie or loud music. All other distractions need to be eliminated. I usually curl up under a warm blanket and my computer late at night and just start writing.
Lucinda Moebius My most recent book, Feeder, was inspired by a girl telling me her adoption story. She was adopted as an infant. She was found in a graveyard when she was a few days old and brought to an orphanage. All the scary stories I heard as a kid suddenly cropped up in my head and the story just rolled out of me. It took less than a year to write and publish.
